Fall Birch Lodge - Lostock Bolton
Our private fishing lake in Lostock, Fall Birch Lodge, is available to fish for both day and night. At approximately 1 acre, this tree lined lodge is an excellent Tench water with additional Roach, Rudd, Perch, several varieties of Carp including Crucians, F1s, Mirrors & Commons & Gudgeon. Radcliffe Angling Society
At less than £40 for the year & several waters to chose from, this club represents excellent value for money. Some of the waters are open to the public which can come with challenges to the Angler but others are more private. Colin & the committee at Radcliffe used to have an active coaching programme in place and are keen to bring it back.
Starmount Lodges offer a great variety of fishing including big Perch, Carp up to nearly 30lb, Bream, Ide, Roach, Barbel, Chub, Trout & Tench.

Bryan Hey Reservoir - Horwich
This Bolton based small reservoir has a good head of Carp, decent Perch and silvers & Pike. With depths down to 10 foot and a weedy shallow end, it's a challenging venue but might just hold some surprises. August is the main man to contact for membership enquiries - 07842804257. Gawsworth Fishery - Near Macclesfield
This Cheshire based fishery has several lakes to choose from. Their largest lake contains Carp to 30lb, monster Catfish & big Perch. The lake in the picture called is the first one you come to called Wall Pool. This holds plenty of species including Tench, Carp, Bream, Perch & Roach. 01260 223442

Beefold Fishery - Atherton
A good friend, Tony Glindon, has run this fishery for the last 3 years & he has made some big improvements. Beefold contains Carp to 25lb, big Perch, Roach, Rudd, Tench, Crucian Carp, Eels, Sturgeon, Wells Catfish & other surprises. Contact Tony for day tickets and memberships on 07469234943.

Whitmore Fisheries - Preston
One of the finest commercial fisheries in the North. There are over 10 lakes on the complex as well as a cafe and tackle shop. Lots of species to target across the different waters. There are some monster Perch and big still water barbel too oh and lots of Carp.
£10 a day ticket and only open Wed - Sunday.

Croft Fisheries - Adlington
Andy Swift runs Croft Fisheries in Adlington. There are 3 lakes and several more will open soon after improvements. Carp, F1s, big Roach, Perch, Chub, Pike, Gudgeon, Ruffe & Bream. Day tickets a very reasonable £6. 07935254383.
River Ribble - Preston
There is a free stretch of the mighty River Ribble in Preston which contains quality Roach, Dace, Perch, big Pike, Chub, Bream & Grayling.
Dunham Fisheries - Althrincham
Not tried this venue yet but will update the website when more is found out.
A complex of 6 lakes with disabled toilets and access. Moss Farm is recently under new management & we should see a tackle shop and cafe open soon.

There are many species of fish to catch across the lakes and you're almost guaranteed a bite, even in winter. Their specimen lake is in the process of also being developed and once re-stocked it will be one of the best in the area.
They are very passionate about promoting the sport and encouraging new people in to it.
